COVID-19 FACE MASKS INITIATIVE

Miami, FL. 2020

Due to the lack of PPE  in our hospitals at the beginning of the pandemic, my mother and I decided to produce face masks to help our community and to contribute to the protection of our health workers. The masks were donated to a group of hospitals and the community  in Miami, Texas, California, Tallahassee, Philadelphia. 

 

We also contributed with the UpCycle Foundation by helping them achieve their goal of masks donations around the area. The collaboration was between them, designers and brands that donated deadstock fabrics to be transformed into masks.
